Sizing information is so vital, we feel it is important to restate this section on how to select model size. FRE-FLO™ model size is essential for results. As a general rule, it is better to select a size that is on the high side of the water flow range. Example: with an incoming water flow of 4.5 gallons per minute (GPM), it would be better to select the smaller FRE-FLO™ size model 125-075 with a GPM of 2.2 to 4.7 (instead of the larger size model 150-100 with a GPM of 4.3 to 7.5). Oversizing a FRE-FLO™ is a guaranteed failure. FRE-FLO™ units are engineered for specific water flow rates (shown at a glance in the Price Sheet). Smaller is better, provided water flow is not restricted. So, the most important key to FRE-FLO’s™ documented reliable performance is in easily choosing the correct size FRE-FLO™, which is based simply and only on the GPM rate of water flowing into the FRE-FLO™. The water flow may start and stop as required. However, when the water is flowing, it needs to be in the range of the model FRE-FLO™ selected.
